The build continued on Sunday with George, Ian, Peter W & Claire joined by Claire’s Husband Greg & Paul Rainer.
Although there are a few things to check and finish off, the build was completed with Greg & Paul roofing and the remainder fitting doors & windows etc. Artificial grass will be laid and our benches moved to our new club area.
It can’t be stressed enough how much thanks we owe to George and the rest of the build team over the 2 days and in the planning and careful preparation that got us to this stage. So many have willingly given up their time to help including non members and YM Tennis is extremely grateful. I’m sure that if we had asked for more help there would be many more volunteers who would have stepped forward. It is a testimony to the spirit of our club that we had so many happy to help.
