2023-24 WINTER LEAGUE

2023 SUMMER LEAGUE

Final Tables will be sent to clubs & posted here once all results are in, last date for results is 20th Aug 2023. It’s been a difficult season with several rain affected matches.

IDL RULES 2023 last amended 2023

AGM will take place at Copleston Centre on Monday 17th April 2023 7.30pm

Fixture making process will be start Wed 22nd March when fixture forms will be emailed to fixture secretaries. Final date for fixtures to be returned is Wed 12th April (AGM is later than usual to avoid the school Easter holidays) Hopefully fixtures can be returned as soon as they are completed.

2022-23 WINTER LEAGUE

Rule change trial: Players may now play up twice and still play in lower team. Reminder that players MAY NOT play in 2 matches with the same listed scheduled date.

Date extension to Sun 9th April 6pm for all Winter results due to several weekends of bad weather. 

2021 SUMMER LEAGUE
This will be a ‘Standalone’ season. Please see Circular 9 below for more details and also Rules for 2021 Summer season ONLY

2020-21 WINTER LEAGUE
This will now comprise of 1 match against each other team in the division due to the Covid 19 Lockdowns, play to be arranged by Home teams, matches as listed in links below.
ALL RESULTS SHOULD BE IN BY  30th JUNE 10pm, please. Also any claims or problems should be notified as soon as possible to allow for resolution before this date. THANK YOU

Additional information to Circular 5

Following the decision to reschedule matches that would have been played on 15th and 22nd November 2020 the committee has formulated a plan to amend the 2020-21 Winter League Series of matches, as outlined below:

  1. New dates for unplayed matches;

15th Nov, now to take place on 28th February 2021

22nd Nov, now to take place on 7th March 2021.

  1. The Winter League Series will be extended to finish on 18 April, to allow any weather affected matches to be completed
  2. Results and any claims to be with the League Administrator by end of play 18th April 2021.
  3. As a consequence of 2 and 3 above Winter League 2020-21 final tables may not be available at the 2021 AGM, which would be our usual practice. The final tables will be circulated to Clubs as soon as they become available.

We have taken these decisions and produced this plan now to give Clubs the maximum time to arrange their outstanding matches. However, this is predicated upon the current known situation and assumes that there will be a resumption of play on 6th December 2020. Should there be further developments and changes we in turn will issue further information.

COVID 19

The IDTL League committee are currently consulting on how the Summer League may be affected. Please be assured all clubs will be notified as soon as any firm decisions are made.

following League committee meeting 5th Sept, the composition of the divisions has been agreed and details will be emailed/sent to all named contacts and club contacts by the middle of September latest. The 1st weekend will be Oct 6th/7th. REMINDER ALL matches MEN & LADIES now 3 tie break sets (at 6-6)
